Two Zoomlion truck cranes help build the Kuala Lumpur Signature Tower in Malaysia

Days ago, two Zoomlion truck cranes, one QY25D531R and one QY55D531R, were delivered to China State Construction Engineering, a Chinese building contractor, for building Kuala Lumpur Signature Tower in Malaysia.

In May 2016, two newly-coated L500 internal climbing tower cranes of Zoomlion entered the construction site to help build the Kuala Lumpur Signature Tower with a building height of 423 meters. It is learned that the construction of tower body structure has been started and these two high-performance truck cranes will help hoist and set up the steel structures of the Signature Tower.

Relevant principal of customer said that Zoomlion products would be mainly responsible for moving the steel structures precisely to the desired positions, and thus requirements on the products’ precision and performance were relatively high.

By virtue of high market share as well as excellent quality and service support, Zoomlion cranes are very popular among local Malaysian enterprises as well as Chinese enterprises and orders come one after another.

Earlier in Nov. 2016, three Zoomlion truck cranes were delivered to help build Bandar Malaysia, another landmark project in Kuala Lumpur.

With a total investment of approximately RMB 150 billion and expected to be completed in 10 to 15 years, Bandar Malaysia project is contracted by China Railway Construction Corporation to build.

By report, hoisting equipment used by Bandar Malaysia project employs right-hand drive chassis and operator’s cab that satisfy local demands. Besides, the products are equipped with jibs that are swinging downward and can be extended in narrow site, thus saving space and improving efficiency.

Since Zoomlion formally entered Malaysian crane market by contracting with the exclusive agent Trans Elite Group Sdn Bhd in 2009, the company has sold near 300 mobile cranes in the country, and significantly improved its market share, up to 65%, and influence. Depending on professional sales and service, Zoomlion has won universal praises of local customers.

As the “Belt and Road” Initiative proposed by China is being further responded to by the Southeast Asia, China has been Malaysia’s largest trading partner for seven years in a row, while Malaysia has been China’s largest trading partner among the ASEAN countries for eight consecutive years. Large Chinese construction enterprises have established regional headquarters or branch companies in the Southeast Asia in succession and have undertaken constructions of local projects in Malaysia.

“Malaysia has increasingly become the first choice in the Southeast Asia for Chinese enterprises to implement the "go global" strategy. With constructions of more projects to be started, we believe that Zoomlion’s sales in Malaysia will reach a higher level. Zoomlion will work together with more Chinese enterprises to make contributions for the infrastructure constructions along the “Belt and Road”.” Relevant principal of Zoomlion said.
