RT70U makes its debut at Conexpo

RT70U, a new member of XCMG’s rough terrain wheeled crane series, developed with 3 years of dedicated efforts, made its debut on Conexpo being held in Las Vegas, the USA. The new product, dubbed “SUV in Crane”, attracts much attention because of its hard-lined appearance. Visitors even rush to take photos with RT70U.
Rough terrain wheeled cranes have been developed by XCMG based on the model spectrum of the existing crane trucks, all-terrain crane and crawler crane of XCMG, and could be used for infrastructure supports, mines, ports and oil field facilities. They are now widely used in European and American countries. The product has been approved by TUV Rheinland Germany and China National Construction Machinery Quality Supervision Testing Center, and has obtained production permit of special equipment in China, CE certificate and cTUVus certificate.

Designed strictly according to the safety standards of Europe and America, and adopting the unique proprietary technologies such as automatic braking and automatic correction of steered wheels, RT70U is completely safe with various active protection technologies against overload, pulleying, overfall and hyperextension. The 5-section quadrangle orthodrome cargo boom is used to guarantee lifting performance that surpasses all the products of the same tonner in the industry. Furthermore, with two driving modes and four steering modes, RT70U enjoys very outstanding off-road performance and transition performance.
Comfortable, environmental friendly
The use of filtering load-sensitive system and electronic-control open-type system ensures stable operation of RT70U in various working conditions. The triptronic transmission guarantees easy and comfortable gear shifting. The lockable torque converter helps save 20% fuel during fast driving. For the luffing system, the gravity drop mechanism is adopted to eliminate the need of extra power. The electronic ultra vires power-change control technology is used in the hydraulic system to reduce the fuel consumption and extend the useful life of elements for about 15%.

With even more humanization design, such as the arrangement of climbing channel, maintenance channel and controls, RT70U guarantees easy use and maintenance. The full-view cab is equipped with high-power air conditioner and HD rear view camera system to ensure a wide vision and comfortable driving and riding experience. The full-hydraulic power steering system helps relieve the strenuousness from operating.
