Recently, the international authoritative industry magazine International Construction released the latest Top 50 global construction machinery manufacturers (Yellow Table 2016). XCMG is the sole Chinese enterprise listed in the Top 10.

Analysis pointed out that influenced by the fall of commodity prices, slowed growth of the new economy, and the world economic downturn, the total output value of global top 50 construction machinery manufacturing enterprises falls by 16.2% over last year, a record low since 2009. The report also stressed that Chinese enterprises experience the most serious decline, which is largely due to the slowdown of China's economic growth. Only XCMG remains in the Top 10, ranking ninth in the list.
