One of the world’s leading suppliers of wheel loaders, SDLG, is introducing the new L933 at bC India 2016 and also showcasing the best-selling LG958L.
In India, SDLG currently offers two wheel loaders: the 3-ton rated LG936L and the 5-ton rated LG958L, both of which are popular in applications such as general construction, dockside work and mining. At this year’s bC India the company will introduce a third model for the market, the new L933, showing it alongside a LG958L.
“We’re seeing rising demand for wheel loaders in India, particularly in the 3-ton class,” said Sanu George, business head, SDLG India. “The new L933 for India is ideal for handling ready mix concrete, or applications such as road building and quarrying. It is a simpler and more cost-effective wheel loader than other options we offer in India, but it maintains the reliable performance and robust design that has built our reputation. We’re expecting lots of interest in this new machine at bC India 2016.”
New L933
Equipped with a Weichai Deutz WP6G125E331 turbocharged engine, the 3 ton-rated L933 satisfies the regional requirements for emissions in India, while offering users reliable performance and excellent durability. With a power output of 92 kW at 2,300 rpm, the L933 can handle material handling tasks with ease while its maximum gradeability is 30 degrees.
Overall working weight for the unit is 10,200 – 10,250 kg and the machine can deliver up to 96 kN of breakout and traction force. Its steep 45-degree dump angle and high 45-degree bucket rollback allows for more efficient load carrying and quicker cycle times. Bucket options for the loader vary from 1.4 m3 – 3 m3, and the design includes a thickened anti-friction plate which minimizes cutting resistance.
The load-sensing fully-hydraulic system reduces power consumption and improves working efficiency through the use of a single-pump design. The enlarged radiator also optimizes the
use of inlet and outlet air channels to lower the temperature of water and oil in the hydraulic system, making the machine highly energy efficient and reliable.
Aside from high energy efficiency, the L933 offers ease of operation through a fixed-shaft powershift transmission. This offers four forward and two reverse gears with a single-stage, single-phase three-element hydraulic torque converter. The axis-fixed semi-automatic transmission makes full use of the engine’s power to increase torque and deliver greater traction. The single-plate rear frame and a four-plate front frame uses joint bearings to ensure flexible operation and a small turning radius.
LG958L on show
Appearing next to the L933 newcomer at bC India will be the LG958L, one of two well-established SDLG models in the Indian market. The LG958L is well-liked for its ease of operation, value pricing and fast return on investment, and is popular with users in construction, utility works, farming, industrial applications and ports.
“The success of LG958L has helped raise the profile of the SDLG brand in India,” said Sanu George. “It will be great to see it alongside the new L933 at bC India, underlining our strength in the Indian wheel loader market.”
