Disasters always call for great love for lives in danger. Upon learning the landslide information, Wang Min, President of XCMG, immediately instructed that, at the critical moment when peoples’ lives were endangered, XCMG must shoulder its responsibility and show its great love and speedily construct a super powerful force with its mighty equipments for relieving the affected area.

XCMG Promptly Sent Six Large Excavators to the Earthquake-Stricken County

XCMG instantly initiated the emergency response mechanism, and formed rescue teams commanded by leaders of the Scraper Machinery Division and the Excavation Machinery Division respectively. While timely marshaling XCMG equipment surrounding the disaster location for site rescue, XCMG also assembled two special rescue teams equipped with large scale construction machineries including excavators and loaders respectively.

The rescue team armed with XCMG excavators was captained by Xu Kebiao, regional manager of the Excavator Division (Sichuan province), who hurried to the disaster-stricken site alongside 14 team members and operators. Given that in the site exist huge land sliding area and massive dislodged rocks, so small scale excavators fail to function enough and local rescuers urge for large scale excavators, 3 XE265 and 3 XE370 totaling 6 heavy excavators are called up from Chengdu and head for the site at 14:00.

Presently, the road from Chengdu to County Mao had been under control by due authority, with social vehicles limited, only rescue vehicles permissible to pass. XCMG rescue teams had properly prepared the traffic permit for rescue vehicles. As the leader of the rescue team, Xu Kebiao said that they would get to the site at first time despite difficulty. As was predicted, the 6 large scale excavators for the rescue task would arrive at the site by 19:00 pm.

The rescue team with scrapers was led by Cui Jie, deputy general manager of the Scraper Marketing Division, who, leading 2 service vehicles and 7 service staff and bringing relevant equipments and spare parts, had come close to the disaster area one step earlier, and had already contacted the Disaster Relief And Emergency Response Office of Sichuan Province. The 36 XCMG loaders urgently collected from the nearby clients and agents had been summoned and ready, trailers and service staff had been appointed in advance, 36 operators had been in place, so everything was ready for the action order of site rescue. Now, another 2 LW500KN loaders from XCMG Scraper Division had marched into the affected area ready for disaster relief.
