On November 6, 2017, the first electrical desalter of large oil refining project equipment in Phase I of refining and chemical integration project of 40 million tons/year in Zhejiang Petrochemical Company was successfully hoisted by two XCMG crawler cranes, which started the cooperation between Jiangsu XCMG Guanglian Machinery Rental Co. Ltd. and Sinopec Heavy Lifting Transportation Engineering Co., Ltd.
The refining and chemical integration project of 40 million tons/year in Zhejiang Petrochemical Company is located in green petrochemical base of big and small Fish Mountain Islands of Zhoushan Islands of Zhejiang Province. The Phase I Project is expected to be completed and put into operation by the end of December 2018 and Phase II Project is expected to be completed and put into operation in the first quarter of 2021. The total investments of the Project reach RMB 80 billion, which is the largest in China and the top in the world in respect of scale and costs. It is reported that all the heavy parts hoisting in the unprecedented and super-large refining and chemical integration project in the island will be in the charge of Sinopec Heavy Lifting Transportation Engineering Co., Ltd. (SLT). The total hoisting tonnage will be near 200,000 tons.

It is reported that another set of hoisting equipment XGC16000 of XCMG Guanglian will land on the island in the middle of November to make contributions to sea petrochemical development.
